Auto-Pilot VS Pilot in control
My dad was my best friend. He thought death was the only solution and there was nothing I or anyone else could do to prevent that from happening, this was his last escape from the world he was living. Society today is getting tougher and tougher to live in. Most of us are stuck in the so-called auto-pilot to simply survive. What happened to living? We are the pilot in our own lives, which means, we should be in control. There is a big difference between just surviving month after month, and to really live life. I know that it isn't just me who wants to to live not just survive. but what is the difference between them?
This is my definition of the two :
(Auto-pilot) Surviving:
- work 8-5 each day that you might not even enjoy.
- Forcing yourself to work even though you are sick.
- Pay bills and figure out how much money is left for food.
- When we retire, we are living on less than what we did when we worked.
- Entertainment comes last. For example, eating in a restaurant, bowling, traveling, shopping.
- Time! How much time do you have for doing the things you love?
(Pilot in control) Living:
- Big goals and dreams
- create a stable income source that benefits the rest of your life.
- To have energy to help other people because you want to and can.
- feel happiness, free from anxiety,
- do not feel imprisoned in one place.
- To feel refreshed every morning when you wake up. To be able to do what you want not because you have to buy because you want to.
- Travel and work wherever you want and not being stuck in one place.
- Time will definitely not be an issue or something you thing about daily.
